A good CC collection does not have to be huge. Start with a few things you will use often and learn which styles and creators genuinely suit your game.
Where would you like to start?
- CAS: Hair, skin details, clothes, shoes, and accessories for your Sims.
- Build/Buy: Furniture, plants, decorations, and building pieces.
- Defaults: Content that replaces existing textures or models in the game.
Maxis Match or Alpha?
Maxis Match CC follows the visual style of the base game. Alpha CC often looks more realistic and detailed. Both are completely valid—choose what you enjoy and what runs well on your device.
A calm starter routine
- Begin with one small set from the creator’s original page.
- Sort the files immediately by creator and category.
- Open the game and check the new content in CAS or Build Mode.
- Keep a preview image or link with the files.
This makes it much easier to remember where an item came from and where to look for an updated version later.
